Giuseppe joined Tredwells as a waiter in October 2015 and was promoted to Head Waiter after just 9 months. Giuseppe’s natural talent, charm and infectious smile has made him a popular member of the team and his impressive drive for improvement and advancement ensures he’s a star of the future…

What is it like working for Tredwells?

I really enjoy it. There’s always a fantastic team spirit and every day we’re learning something new. Chantelle (Chef Patron) makes sure we’re constantly being challenged, to make sure we’re always developing.

What’s the best part of working for Tredwells?

Because the menus change regularly due to produce availability and seasonal influences, we are always learning about new food and wine, so my experience in the restaurant is well-rounded. I also like working for Tredwells because it is part of Marcus Wareing’s group. He is a fantastic ambassador for the company and his strong work ethic is truly inspiring.

Where would you like to be in 5 years time?

Hopefully one day I can be a Restaurant Manager! I just want to keep learning and improving every day to eventually run the floor.

What is the most important part of your role?

Making sure the guests are always happy. I take it as my responsibility to ensure guests are smiling and laughing from the moment they walk in until they leave.
