Chantelle Nicholson and Peter Gordan Supper ClubIn support of the launch of Chef Chantelle’s new book, Planted, published Thursday 19th April, her fellow compatriot, Chef Peter Gordon (of The Providores and Tapa Room-fame), is joining her at Tredwells to co-create a truly unique, plant-based menu.

As a young foodie in New Zealand, Peter was someone I looked up to and admired hugely, so to have the opportunity to cook with him is the realisation of a dream come true

On Tuesday 1st May, these two Kiwi culinary masterminds, will alternate courses between a 6 course menu, all in celebration of the most adaptable of food groups, the VEGETABLE.

Chantelle is a fabulous and creative chef and to be able to help celebrate her new book is a real pleasure

Cassava sesame fritter, mango, chrain (PG)

Caramelised aubergine tarlet, zhug, coconut & corriander (CN)

Miso sesame courgettes, Jersey Royals, kimchi, tofu, seaweed (PG)

Spring pea & broad bean gnudi, asparagus, confit lemon & fennel, tempura spring onions with romesco sauce (CN)

Coconut tapioca, avocado mango sorbet, chillied pineapple (PG)

Dark chocolate mousse, cocoa nibs, passion fruit & chamomile (CN)

 

Chantelle will be returning the favour on Monday 10th September, when Peter invites her to The Providores and Tapa Room to co-create on a menu there.
