BALENCIAGA: SHAPING FASHION AT THE V&A
NOW – 18th FEBRUARY
Described by Vogue as “a euphoric celebration of the master of them all”, Balenciaga: Shaping Fashion opened at the V&A last spring, and is now in its final few weeks.
Curated by Cassie Davies-Strodder, the exhibition took 18 months to prepare, including the acquisition of many pieces from private collectors from all over the world. During his lifetime, Cristóbal Balenciaga rarely gave interviews to the press, and never wrote a biography, resulting in an exhibition providing extraordinary insight into Balenciaga’s very private world. Put your best fashion foot forward, and come and join us in the illustrious surrounds of The Berkeley hotel for dinner at Marcus on a Friday evening after the exhibition’s weekly late opening (last entry at 8:15pm).

Bigger, brighter and bolder, the Lumiere London light festival returns for a spectacular second edition. Free to visit and taking place north and south of the river Thames, the UK’s largest light festival extends its reach across the capital.
Down the road in Mayfair, there will be nine installations. The nearest to the restaurant will be Simon Corder’s Bough 3 (pictured). Join us for lunch, before working off those 5 courses with a stroll down to Mayfair afterwards (15 min walk).
