Recipe: Melon Rye

With the warm days showing no sign of disappearing, it’s time for a refreshing cocktail or two! While pineapple, almond and whiskey may sound like a strange combination, the result is dangerously delicious.

Serves 1


50ml rye whisky
50ml pineapple juice
25ml almond syrup
20ml melon juice (or muddle a slice of melon)


Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 5-10 seconds, and then double strain into a large glass.

We use a coupe but any large glass will do. Garnish with a melon peel and enjoy!
