The custard tart returns!

We’re offering visitors to Marcus the chance to dine like the Queen this June with the return of his famous custard tart.

To commemorate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, the nutmeg and custard tart will be available for lunch, appearing on both the lunch menu and three-course menu for the entire month of June.

Best known for being served to the Queen at her 80th birthday banquet, the nutmeg and custard tart has its origins with Marcus’ grandmother, who inspired the recipe. It was his winning dish in the 2006 season of Great British Menu, an honour that saw him then re-create the recipe for Her Majesty’s celebrations.
