We’re offering visitors to Marcus the chance to dine like the Queen for two weeks only, with the return of his famous custard tart.
Best known for being served to the Queen at her 80th birthday banquet, the nutmeg and custard tart has its origins with Marcus’ grandmother, who inspired the recipe. It was his winning dish in the 2006 season of Great British Menu, an honour that saw him then re-create the recipe for Her Majesty’s celebrations.
From January 16-30, it will be available for lunch and dinner at Marcus at the Berkeley, as part of the dessert offering. Diners will need to pre-order the tart when booking a table.
